"The impressive single-vineyard 2021 Barranco del Prado was produced with Garnacha and small quantities of Calagraño and Tinta Velasco from an ungrafted plot at 800 meters in altitude that was planted 120 years ago on sandy soils. As of 2020, this belongs to the official category of Viñedo Singular. It matured in well-seasoned, neutral French oak barrels for 20 months. It's floral and aromatic, with varietal character, and is elegant and subtle. It has 15% alcohol and a low pH of 3.44, reflecting the conditions of the place, the vintage and the grape. It is ripe, heady and hedonistic. Very tasty. Only 782 bottles were filled in March 2023." - Luis Gutiérrez
