The small family run Bele Casel winery is located in the Asolo zone of Veneto. This hilly region surrounding the town of Asolo Prosecco was recognized with DOCG status in 2009, and was formerly known as Colli Asolani until 2014, but of course they had been producing delicious spumante wines there long before that. Bele Casel’s first Glera vines were planted over 40 years ago, they were ahead to the worldwide Prosecco craze and continue to make some of the most beautiful expressions you’ll find today. This 100% Glera Extra Dry Prosecco comes from their organically farmed hillside vineyards. Extended lees ageing (over 7 months), no filtration, and old vines really set this beauty apart, with more texture and flavor than so many others we taste. And at sub $15 a bottle you don’t have to feel guilty if you use it in your mimosa or bellini!
Bele Casel Description
"Light, soft fizziness with persistent bubbles. Fresh aromas with notes of golden apple, grapefruit. Elegant and well balanced flavor. Pair with appetizers and fish dishes."

“Luca Ferraro makes wines which combine technical precision with the natural expression of terroir at this small, family- owned estate in the hills of Asolo. Long ageing on the fine lees and slow refermentation give this floral Extra Dry a lovely creamy texture and a deliciously juicy finish. Absolutely irresistible. Alc 11%”
