"A vintage wherein the 2022 Clos De Los Siete survived not one but a double frost, one in spring and another near harvest, grapes were picked quickly while they were at optimal ripeness before shutting down. Softening, chalky tannins highlight a concentrated core of herbaceous graphite and earthiness, the fruit demure in stature. Malbec leads the way at 63% of the blend, joined by 18% Merlot, 9% Syrah, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot, fermented in stainless and concrete before going into mostly French oak barrels over 11 months.
