“The 2018 Rouge, 70% Old Vine Grenache and 30% Old Vine Carignan, is medium garnet in color. It springs from the glass with notes of plum preserves and blueberry pie followed by hints of Indian spices, unsmoked cigars, and sandalwood. The full-bodied palate is rich and plush, with load of anise sparks giving shimmer to the decadent black fruits, finishing long and peppery. 278 cases were made.”

Medium-bodied and balanced on the palate, it has an elegant and seamless character with fine tannins and beautiful complexity, gaining saddle leather and pepper nuances with air. Drink over the next 4-6 years. Drink 2025-2031.”
