A 50/50 co-fermented blend of Barbera and Freisa, two of Piemonte’s most important indigenous grape varieties. The Barbera brings the smooth juicy black cherry fruit and the Freisa adds lift with white pepper and wild flowers. Pop and pour, ready for immediate pleasure. You can even serve with a light chill on a warm day for added refreshment. Deeeelish!

"Packaged with a fun and contemporary blue label, the G.D. Vajra 2020 Piemonte Barbera Freisa is a co-fermented expression of these two very special indigenous grapes. This is the second vintage that this charming red wine was made. It brings tons of joy and conviviality, and although the Barbera feels like the bigger force in this hot vintage, the Freisa adds a spicy element with crushed white pepper and black rose. The punchy mouthfeel is easy and simple with no bitterness. This is a terrific value."
