Sunseeker here is fashioned from 41% Grenache, 36% Zinfandel, and 23% Carignan, and it is a brilliant addition to Villa Creek’s entire range, from the Farmhouse wines to the 96-point MAHA range, as there is nothing else like it. This groovy, partial-carbonic maceration, chillable red is not what it seems. The translucency is disguising a hearty grip and bombastic aromatics of rose and raspberry. Think Beaujolais, but more laidback.
