Vilmart - Brut Champagne Grand Cellier NV
Price: $119.99
Sale Price: $84.99
Vilmart’s Grand Cellier NV is a little different in that they’re blending three of the most current vintages (2019-2021), not using a ton of reserve wines like a lot of houses. Freshness! Grand Cellier is a gorgeous blend of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir, all estate grown in Vilmart’s organically farmed vineyards located the Premier Cru village of Rilly-la-Montagne (specifically lieu-dit Hautes Greves). Vilmart always has a luxurious style, with barrel fermentations, and 30+ months of ageing on the lees, building into a complex but elegant Champagne. Superb on release and this wine will age gracefully for another 10-15 years.

"Made from 70% Chardonnay and the rest Pinot Noir, the NV Champagne 1er Cru Grand Cellier Brut is a bright yellow color and offers very appealing aromas of lemon curd, meringue, white peach, almond pastry, and verbena. It has good tension on the palate with a chalky texture, a luxurious feel, and a refined, pinpoint mousse. This lovely wine is only going to improve if given the chance. Drink 2026-2046.”

"There's a vibrant buoyancy to this graceful Champagne, with the finely detailed mousse and mouthwatering acidity serving as a springboard for flavors of ripe cherry, tangerine zest and macadamia nut, plus fragrant notes of lime blossoms, ground ginger and cardamom. Long and minerally on the plush finish. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Disgorged July 2023. Drink now through 2034. 1,000 cases imported."
