75% Pinot Noir / 25% Chardonnay. "This vintage has its origins and its name from the ancient times (18th and early 19th century). The impossibility of artificially "discoloring" the juices of black grapes led to the development of a Champagne with a dress tainted with an "Eye". This one referred to a Champagne slightly tinged with pink, like an Eye of Perdrix.
