Wine Station MenuWhitesDiatom - Chardonnay 2021 - Sale $23.99 – 93 pts Wine Advocate “Vinified without malolactic conversion and matured in stainless steel, opens with inviting aromas of quince, white peaches, toasted meringue and citrus blossom streaked with hints of matchstick and saline. The medium-bodied palate balances ripe, floral fruit with focused acidity, and a touch of textural breadth lengthens the finish. It combines the verve of Chablis with the ripeness of California.” WA $2.50/$5.00/$10.00
Raul Perez La de Vivo 2021 – Sale $39.99 – 95 pts Wine Advocate – Swartland has a surprising similarity to the Loire in its rich granite soil and proximity to the ocean. Marietta Nadi Riesling 2021 –$28.99 – 91 pts Wine Advocate “Spicy, delicious and hard to put down, opening with gregarious scents of white peach, candle smoke, lime, biscuit and loads of floral perfume. The light-bodied palate is dry and shimmery, balancing racy acidity with creamy citrus fruit and flinty undertones, and it has a long, spicy finish." $3.00/$6.00/$12.00
Oysterman Muscadet– Sale $11.99 From the Olivier Freres estate, grapes are sourced from 45 year-old vines and chosen from different plots to achieve balance: one for the crisp minerality and acidity that is Muscadet’s signature, another that always delivers ripe grapes. $1.00/$2.00/$4.00 RoseFeudo Montoni Rose Di Adele 2022 – Sale $21.99 - 92 Pts Wine Enthusiast "Rich metallic and herbal notes on the nose match the opulent copper in the glass and the savory overtones of the palate, where pink grapefruit and blood orange find oregano and crushed volcanic stones but also a certain lushness despite the salty citric acidic backbone." – WE $2.50/$4.00/$8.00
Garofoli Komaros Rosato 2022 – Sale $16.99 – 92 pts Vinous Media “The 2022 Rosato Kómaros is airy and spicy, wafting up with a blend of crushed rocks, wild herbs and ginger-tinged berries. This is racy, sleek and full of zesty tension, with vibrant acidity guiding its mineral-tinged orchard fruits effortlessly across the palate. The 2022 cleans up beautifully through the finish, sizzling upon the senses with sour citrus.” - Eric Guido $1.50/$3.00/$6.00 RedsLaurent Gauthier Morgon "Grand Cras" 2021- Sale $18.99 – 92 pts Wine Enthusiast “The 2021 Morgon Grand Cras has more to offer on the nose compared to the Côte du Py - for a start, more fruit with fine delineation. The palate is well-balanced with grainy tannins and mineral-driven red fruit. Quite sapid in the mouth with a cohesive finish. This is very commendable in context of the growing season.” $1.50/$3.00/$6.00
Raul Perez Ultreia St. Jacques 2021 – Sale $19.99 – 93 Pts Wine Advocate “It's a wine that represents Bierzo and is from a year when they used more grapes from sandy soils. It has 13.16% alcohol and a pH of 3.66; it's serious and restrained but juicy and easy to drink. Seventy percent of the wine matured in barrel and the rest in troncoconic oak vats.” – WA $2.00/$4.00/$8.00
Domaine de Ferrand le Ferrande 2020 – Sale $24.99 There’s incredible pure fruit up front, compounded by a judicious use of oak demi-muids. I think what really captivates me is how beautifully ripe it is. It’s big and bright, with loads of dark fruit- brambly blackberry and jammy plums. Herbal notes do a lot of work here to elevate this beyond just the fruit though, with the classic black pepper tones to add a little bit of spice to the palette. $2.50/$5.00/$.00
Hundred Suns Noir Eola-Amity Hills 2021– Sale $47.99 – 94 pts Jeb Dunnuck “The 2021 Pinot Noir Eola-Amity Hills pours a saturated red and offers up a mineral-tinged perfume of crushed stones, ripe wild cherry, and woodsy spice, all well-interwoven. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied and has great concentration, ripe tannins, and remarkable length, with ripe fruit and lovely finesse. Give it another couple of years and drink over the following 10-12 years.” $4.50/$9.00/$18.00
Piaggia Pietranera 2021– Sale $25.99 – 91 pts Vinous Media “The 2021 Pietranera is intensely spicy and perfumed with a floral bouquet that mixes dusty rose, sage and vivid black cherry. It's soft, round and juicy to the core with stimulating acids that propel its tart wild berry fruits while adding a balanced inner sweetness toward the close.” – Eric Guido, Vinous $2.00/$4.00/$8.00
