I hear it all the time- “Sam, is it really that good?”. And, I get it- my emails are often packed with poetic praise for our potable products (and excessive alliteration), so a little skepticism can be healthy. But- what if I told you didn’t just have to take my word for it? It's available in the Wine Station to taste! See full listing below. Reply to order.

Try it in the Wine Station! 91 Pts Vinous, 90 Pts James Suckling From the Lolol Valley in Chile, this is an absolutely gorgeous Pinot Noir that had me fascinated from first go! Translated from the indigenous Mapudungun, Lolol equivocates out to “land of crabs and holes”, and is part of the greater Colchagua region that is revolutionizing South American winemaking. The soil here is nigh-ideal for winemaking, with excellent drainage and retention, meaning deep vines and no need for expensive irrigation systems. Seeing an opportunity, Hacienda Araucano moved in. Founded by scions of Bordeaux, they quickly set to cultivating the valley and their estate, even going all organic in 2008! So, just to recap, Bordeaux winemakers, ideal growing conditions, and meticulously cared-for grapes? Yeah, we’re looking at something special. This is exactly what I want out of an everyday Pinot noir- just the right amount of fruit, with a lovely spicy finish and just enough body to stand up to lighter summertime fare. There’s that bramble-iness, like you get from fresh picked blueberries, and a wonderful purple flower note that runs right through the core. It’s become an instant favorite for when I get off work (or as a little end-of-shift pour from the Wine Station- I get those, right Todd?). If you’re still skeptical about how good Chilean Pinot can be, it’s in the Wine Station (alongside tons of other new goodies)- so Try Me or Trust MeTM! “This biodynamically certified Pinot Noir was cleverly aged, 50% in oak and the rest in lees for three months, and offers aromas of strawberry yogurt, mushroom and earth. Very expressive and dry, with a depth of flavor. The tannins fit a little tightly, as though they were a size too small, but remain delicate.” - Vinous “A dark-fruited pinot that shows blueberries, lavender and a touch of brambleberries. The nice, taut palate that follows is medium-bodied with a good build of tannins and acidity. Medium on the finish with good weight. Drink now. Screw cap.” - JS
