Marketed under the old name for Mittelbergheim, the 2021 Pinot Blanc Midelberg is a pure Auxerrois from different limestone plots around the commune and vinified in foudres until summer of this year. The wine shows a clear, pure and aromatic, discreetly flinty bouquet of white seed fruits followed by a round and juicy, finely textured palate and a supple body. The finish is saline, finely tannic and bitter, which makes this an excellent vin à table. 12.5% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted at the domaine in November 2022.
