Chateau Les Charmes - Godard Blanc 2020
"Aromatic white peach with hints of lemon blossoms and nutmeg spice. Fresh and elegant with ripe pear custard and zingy acidity in the persistent finish." - Bordeaux.com

"The 2020 Chateau Les Charmes-Godard Blanc is a richer, more concentrated, medium-bodied white with terrific aromatics of ripe melons, honeyed white flowers, chalk, and a kiss of toasted nuts. This textured yet still vibrant and pure white is geared for the dinner table, and I suspect it will have an interesting evolution over the coming 4-6 years or more. Best After 2023."

"Dried pineapple and lemon zest with lots of sliced apple, too. It’s medium-to full-bodied with beautiful fruit and a long, flavorful finish. Always a fantastic white for the appellation."

"What an enjoyable wine, laden with white flowers, rosemary and freshly cut herbs, expanding into a rich citrus mid-palate. This is a more gourmet style of white wine that would be great with food, because it has depth, grip and roundness. Lovely."

"Exhibiting aromas of crisp pear, waxy lemon rind and struck match, the 2020 Les Charmes-Godard Blanc is medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, with a textural attack, tangy acids and a fleshy but tightly wound core. This Sémillon-based blend is still a little shy after its recent bottling, but its vinous, structured profile promises compelling things with a bit of age. Best After 2021 "
