"The 2021 Cinsault Gallardia from Guarilihue, Itata, was aged for 6 months in used barrels. Vivid purple in the glass. The expressive but delicate nose offers notes of elderberry, sour cherry and pomegranate followed by an uplifting whiff of herbs. Smooth, skinny and nimble in the mouth, with well-integrated freshness and plenty of flavor. The finish is lengthy and fruity. A thirst-quenching but nuanced wine, and a lovely example of the variety."- Joaquín Hidalgo
