Based on 40% Grenache Blanc, 40% Clairette, and 20% Roussanne and aged seven months with 10% new French oak, the 2024 Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc offers exotic flowers, pear, white peach, and minty herb aromatics and a light gold hue. It's medium-bodied, fresh, focused, and pure, with a balanced, seamless mouthfeel, integrated acidity, and a gorgeous finish. With roughly 666 cases produced, it will drink beautifully over the coming 15+ years. Drink 2025-2040.

Pronounced mineral freshness undercuts the richness in this full-bodied, broad version. Briny and flinty, with dried herbs adding savory appeal. Shows flattering toast and salted buttercream on the fresh finish, which is tangy and taut. Drink now through 2030. 1,000 cases made, 28 cases imported.

This full-bodied dry white has a very good balance of waxy richness and freshness plus aromas of pomelo, grapefruit peel and rosemary. The restrained tannins deftly support the long, polished finish. A cuvee based on grenache blanc with a generous amount of clairette. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

Outperforming the 2023 I tasted last year, the 2024 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc is a delight. Composed of 40% Grenache Blanc (raised in concrete eggs), 30% Clairette (demi-muids and barriques) and 30% Roussanne (demi-muids), it opens with pronounced yellow apple, lemon flesh and honeysuckle. Medium- to full-bodied and complex, the 2024 delivers a concentrated palate energized by a bright lift that carries through to the mineral resolution with a touch of wet stone. This was vinified from certified organic grapes.
