A beautifully round Riesling with a pronounced minerality, the Hugel Classic shows off a gorgeous, quenching salinity that makes it pop! Hints of lime and lemon-grass on the nose give way to a DRY wine filled with green plum and peach fruit flavors.
Food Pairing: This is an interesting one… it has the stuffing (ha!) to stand up to the turkey or, even better, ham. But if your table runs to the sweeter side – I’m looking at you mashed sweet potatoes – then I would stick with this gem as a starter. Absolutely killer with shrimp and cheese, or those little spanakopita apps my wife picks up from Costco, or whatever!
