“The 2019 Gaminde is 100% Tempranillo sourced from a vineyard planted in 1942 in Briones, Rioja Alta. After fermentation in foudres, it aged in oak barrels. This garnet red wine offers aromas of cherry and dried flowers, complemented by nuanced wild herbs and balsamic hints. On the palate, it is dry, rich and juicy, with intense and bold flavors that linger long, leaving a lasting note of quince. The Gaminde embodies the classic Tempranillo style of Rioja Alta, presented in a modern and flavorful expression.”
