"Deep ruby-purple, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley offers pure cassis and blackcurrant bud on the nose, with tones of coffee, dark chocolate, cast iron, violet and aniseed that continue to gain intensity and layers as it spends time in the glass. The full-bodied palate is powerful, with youthfully coiled fruit supported by abundant, grainy tannins and seamless freshness, while touches of flinty character define the long finish.
