Francois Villard - Cornas Jouvet 2021
Decanter: 93 Points
"Good concentration to this full-bodied wine, that’s showing good tannic finesse. It's quite intense, with fine, pliable tannins that are present but ripe and not too serrated, quite buffed in fact. This will be interesting, but wait. From southeast-facing lieu-dit Jouvet, at 400m altitude. From bought grapes, all of which were whole-bunch fermented in wood, then aged in five- to seven-year-old barriques."
