"The 2018 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 3 Cru is perfumed in the glass with crushed raspberries, cloves and a lifting hint of mint. It's soft and pliant on the palate, not showing the concentration one would expect, with pretty red fruits and inner florals. This finishes with medium length and lightly grippy tannins as inner violet florals fade. The 2018 benefits from the juice usually used to create the Riserva Calcarole. Drink 2023-2030."
