I was blown away by this wine when I tasted it in Portugal and knew I had to introduce it to my wine-loving friends in NC. It hails from Portugal’s most northerly wine region, Vinho Verde. Gasp! An authentic regional wine produced at one of Portugal’s most historic wineries and made by one of the country’s most talented winemakers, Mafalda Magalhães.
