"The 2019 Fiano di Avellino Pietramara impresses with a mixture of savory and sweet, as notes of almond and wild flowers give way to yellow apples and hints of spice. Its deeply textural, yet also packed full of vibrant acids and salty minerals that keep the energy high. Citrus-tinged orchard fruits, sour melon and hints of ginger can all be found, and they last through the tension-filled finale. The 2019 is likely to improve with a little more time in bottle, but I find it hard to resist right now."
