"The Idda 2022 Etna Rosso shows medium color saturation with dark ruby and garnet highlights. The bouquet embraces more concentrated aromas of plump cherry and damson plum. There is a spicy hint of cinnamon, sweet spice and even a pinch of peppermint. With time, some of those purely Sicilian aromas of olive and toasted fennel seed add a little more dimension and depth to the bouquet. Idda represents a slightly riper and denser interpretation of Nerello Mascalese for near and medium-term drinking."
