Liquid Farm Description
In 2013 Liquid Farm branched out from Sta. Rita Hills and began producing chardonnay from the “sister” AVA, Santa Maria Valley. Since its production is similiar to the White Hill, we consider this the “sister”; thus its name. Slightly richer, with more roundness than the White Hill, and a much more apparent pro le of tropical fruits.
100% Bien Nacido Vineyard fruit, fermented in neutral French oak and aged 10 months in neutral French oak.
Fresh pineapple, apricot candied ginger, white owers, marzipan.

“The 2021 Chardonnay La Hermana has pretty aromas of burnt lemon, tarragon, sour cream, matchstick and toast. The medium-bodied palate is satiny and concentrated, its baked apple fruit still youthfully toasty. It is balanced by tangy acidity and finishes with great length and anchoring textural presence.” – 95 pts for 2021
