I’ll be honest, this one’s for me… check that, this is for my wife! Her favorite red, Zinfandel just hits all the right spots for a winter warmer.

Rich and lush, with bright, juicy fruit, this frisky little wine is perfect for a “It’s been a long day” glass of wine. My beautiful bride goes to work when it’s dark… and comes home when it’s dark… and spends the interim in a windowless operating room… I can’t give her sunshine, but this comes close! 11% Petite Sirah adds backbone and tannins to the mix, giving this enough oomph to stand up to hearty fare like stew, steaks, short ribs… hmmm… short ribs… click on the picture for a killer recipe.
