Jasmin is a traditionalist. He uses no new oak, and does no extended maceration, everything done by hand—including punch-downs by foot. His wines are known for their balance, finesse, and floral lift, rather than power or extraction. “La Giroflarie,” the flagship cuvée, a blend of all his parcels, vinified separately and then harmonized before bottling. The 2023 vintage in the Northern Rhône was superb. Offering moderate ripeness, freshness, and aromatic clarity, ideal conditions for Jasmin’s style.

It shows the pure, vibrant style of the vintage in its darker fruits, violets, and peppery, spring flower-driven nuances. These carry to a medium to full-bodied Côte Rôtie with fine tannins, a beautifully layered, seamless mouthfeel, and outstanding length."
