Quinta dos Murças Description
Deep and intense. Complex, fresh and elegant on the nose with black fruits and balsamic aromas reminiscent of rockrose, and the spice notes typical of barrel ageing. Firm and concentrated, with marked and well-balanced acidity and ripe and enveloping tannins. The finish is long and persistent with fruity notes and outstanding balance and elegance.
Wine Enthusiast: 93 Points
Aged in wood, smoothing out tannins and showing a licorice aroma and great richness, this is a dense wine. Foot trodden in lagars has broadened the wine's richness. With structure still apparent, the wine could still age further. Drink from 2026.
