Old school, old vines, awesome Albariño, so compelling that it really belies its sub $25 price point. Wild aromas of sea spray and coastal grasses set the tone, mixing with fresh picked Meyer lemon, candied ginger and pear. A pure and creamy mouthfeel follows, broadening on the tongue, bringing more citrus and pear, with notes of strawberry and quince. Long and silky through the finish with salty minerals and floral tones. Hard to resist now, but I expect this wine will continue to blossom for at least another 4-5 years. Superb!
