"The 2021 Volnay Saint François is a beauty in the making, mingling aromas of blackberries and raspberries with notions of forest floor, burning embers and peonies. Medium to full-bodied, sapid and perfumed, with a layered core of fruit, powdery tannins and a mineral finish, this cuvée certainly didn't get the memo that 2021 is supposed to be a "lesser" vintage." - William Kelley
