The Tavignano comes from Castelli di Jesi. Nestled in Le Marche on the Eastern coast, Italy’s best verdiccho comes from these historic hills. Limestone soils and cool breezes from the Adriatic make this an ideal climate for this style of wine, upping the acidity and freshness with wonderful mineral tones.
Mineral driven and crystal clear, this an exceptionally refreshing wine. There’s lovely apple and pear notes, with hints of zesty lime and clean stone. It’s wildly thirst-quenching, with wonderful precision and acidity, as well as a hint of salinity that rounds it out and makes you crave another sip.
