A fresh and expressive white, this blend of 90% Verdejo and 10% Viura shows off bright citrus flavors coupled with lovely tree-fruit aromatics. A clean, grassy finish might fool you into thinking this is New Zealand Sauv Blanc, but that little bit of extra body from the Viura gives it a slight savory quality that makes it perfect aperitif!

Basa is one of the pioneering wines to show the expression of a grape variety, the "Verdejo" that adapted to a continental climate, gives rise to a direct, fresh and expressive wine. Traditional agriculture, vertical trellis, pruned in cordon royat. Manual and machine harvest. Fermentation and maturation in stainless steel tanks.
