"Seventy years ago, Bruno Lunelli was using big Slavonian casks, and this Riserva Lunelli harks back to that traditional style – although today, untoasted Austrian Stockinger casks are preferred. From the estate's Chardonnay vineyards surrounding the 16th century Villa Margon property, its aromas are reminiscent of Puligny Montrachet with a smoky, flinty edge filled in with patisserie and woody, dusty touches. The attack in the mouth is intense, with a juicy and sapid mid-palate and an unctuous, salty, orange peel and apricot finish which stimulates the appetite. Disgorged 2022."
